Jain Body Pays Tribute To Acharya Mahapragya

Ahmedabad, May 10:

The Jain Panchyat Parishad, a religious body, today paid rich tributes to late Jain Acharya Mahapragya who died in Rajasthan yesterday after heart attack.

In a written tribute, founder chairman of Parishad Jainendra Kumar Jain said the Acharya was a great saint and a social reformer.

He attracted youth to not only Jainism, but other religions as well by his ideals of peace and non-violence.

The Acharya was an able disciple of Acharya Tulasi, a great Jain monk and a nationalist. He was an expert of Hindu and Jain philosophy. He lived a very simple life. His writings have solved the problems of many a beleaguered persons. His speeches showed a way of life to people who were groping in the dark.
