London : Music and Food Event at Women's Interfaith Network

Samani Pratibha Pragya and Samani Punya Pragya participated in the above event, which was held at the Lindley Hall, Royal Horticultural Society, London, on Sunday, 25th September 2005.

Samani Punya Pragya recited three numbers including the Navkar Mantra. Her voice and her style of singing earned her many accolades from the audience.

Samani Pratibha Pragya explained the meanings of the lyrics before each recitation.
She also praised the main aim of the organisation, which is to overcome hostilities that exist between different cultures in London as well as other parts of the United Kingdom.
The organisation was founded in the wake of 9/11 atrocities in the USA.

The event included Garba and Sufi Dances as well as Gospel Singers and A Jewish singing group called Kol Rina (Voice of Joy).

The event was a great success and the audience represented a cross section of people from various walks of life and of various faiths including Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Sikhism, Jainism, Hinduism and Zoroastrianism.

Mrs. Usha Mittal, wife of Mr. Laxmi Mittal, the steel magnate, sponsored the whole event.
