Smt Mohani Devi Bardia, (w/o Late Sardarmal Bardia of Sardarshahr) a shrawika of Jain Swetamber Terapanth and a devotee of H.H. Acharya Shri Mahashramanji took vow of Santhara (practice of detachment from the physical body without any fear of death) on the 23rd day of her fast (known as sanlekhana, before santhara) at her home at native place and present place of Chaturmas of H.H. Acharyashree..

The vow for Santhara was accepted by the shrawika from Acharya Shri Mahashramanji at 8.28 A.M. on Wednesday, 13th October, 2010. Acharya Shri Mahashramanji was kind enough to reach the Bardia’s place and the shrawika accepted the vow of Santhara from the voice of H.H.. On the occasion H.H. praised the courage of the devotee shrawika Smt Mohini Devi Bardia. The shrawika was overwhelmed with joy on getting the darshan of her Guru in her own family home. The Shrawika has moved a step further towards accomplishing the third manorath of a Jain Shrawik/shrawika.

Smt. Mohini Devi Bardia was born at Sardarshahr in the year Vikram Samvat 1977 to Sri Nemichand Anchalia(Freedom Fighter) and Smt Sukhi Devi Anchalia. She was married to Sardarmal Bardia (S/o.
