Women Are The Eminent Power Of The World

Under the pious presence and inspirational guidance of Sadhvi Shri Kanakshriji, the learned disciple of Acharya Shri Mahashramanji, the occasion of International Women’s Day was celebrated at the Community Hall of Ganges Garden by the Terapanth Mahila Mandal, South Howrah by concluding a seminar on women-thinking. The members of the Mahila Mandal presented a soulful song on women-empowerment.
On this occasion, in her speech, Sadhvi Shri Kanakshriji said - women are the eminent power of the world. If the virtue of a woman is exploited carefully, she can change the face of families and the world. ‘Self-Dependent women are pride of the nation’ - Sadhvishri discussed the topic and also requested the fellow women present to utilize their capabilities and talent for the benefit of the country. Commenting on the occasion of International Women’s Day, Sadhvishri said that the importance of this day cannot be expressed just by organizing rallies, camps or seminars. Women should self-interrogate. Women should manifest their hidden talents. They should think new and do new. They should correctly analyze their capability, status and development abilities and move ahead. Sadhvishri also said that issues like women empowerment, education, health, independence, female child safety and awareness of women rights are given importance world-wide. It has let to a lot of thought evolvement. Educated and able women are a success in all the fields. But what is to be thought about is the status of the ordinary women. Is the light of development shining upon them or not?
Earlier a Grand Rally was organized by Terapanth Mahila Mandal and South Howrah Terapanthi Sabha. The rally had hundreds of participants, Mahila Mandal members in their orange colored uniform carrying the slogans like- ‘ SAVE THE GIRL CHILD’, ‘ FOETICIDE IS A GREAT SIN’, ‘ GIRL IS NOT A BURDEN BUT A BOON, SHE IS A PRIDE OF A HOME’, ‘ALLOW THE CULTURE TO GROW, LET THE GIRL CHILD TAKE BIRTH’,’ BE A PROUD PARENT OF A GIRL CHILD’ etc. After the mahila mandal members in uniform the rally was joined by Sadhvi Kanakshri ji, Sadhvi Veena Kumari ji, Sadhvi Madhulata ji, Sadhvi Madhulekha ji and Sadhvi Shanti Prabha ji and then followed shrawikas and shrawaks. Gyanshala children also joined the rally. The rally converted into a meeting at Ganges Garden community hall, where it was addressed by Sadhvi shri ji.
