English Pratikraman during Paryushan
SCVP is pleased to inform that this year during Paryushan we have organized Pratikraman for all 8 days, with sutras being recited in English as well as the original language. The aim is for people, both young and old, to understand the process and essence of this most important of all Jain festivals. This will include meditation and if time permits, the reading of Kalpasutra in English. Children and adults both welcome. We have limited space so please register your interest early.

Essence of Jain way of life - A Foundation Course
Come and learn about what Mahavir Bhagwan said, did and thought and the legacy he has left behind in the form of our beautiful religion which is as relevant today as it was then. It is a 2 year Foundation Course taught by a group of experienced teachers who will bring alive the subject matter through critical analysis, experiential learning and use of modern teaching methods taught predominantly in English.
