Under the auspices of Acharya Shri Mahashraman, Anuvrat Mahasamati has announced commencement of “Anuvrat Lekhak Puruskar” from this year, which will be awarded at the national level for excellence in the field of literacy, spirituality, education, journalism & services. This announcement was made by the President of the Mahasamiti, Mr. Babulal Golecha, who added that this year’s award would be presented to Mr. Lalit Garg for excellence in the field of motivational & moral literacy, journalism & Social Services.
The awardee would be presented with Rs. 51,000/- in cash, an appreciation certificate and a shield. Late Shri Hukumchand Sethia has sponsored these prizes.
Shri Lalit Garg has been a disciple of Acharya Shri Tulsi, Acharya Shri Mahaprajna as well as Acharya Shri Mahashraman & has actively participated in various programs and activities organized by them. He had been the editor of the fortnight ‘Anuvrat’ for over fifteen years and also the coordinator for the ‘Anuvrat’ Writers Meet. He has edited several magazines, Samradh Sukhi Parivar, Samaj Darpan & Journals.
Owing to which he has made journalism his life mission. He is the youngest son of the renowned journalist & freedom fighter from Rajasthan, Late Shri Ramswaroop Garg.
Mr. Garg has also been bestowed with ‘Mahaprajna Pratibha Award’ and many other awards.
