Dr. Manoj Vora is well known physician from New York. Originally from
Surendranagar, Gujarat, India, is a religious man of Jain faith and vegetarian.
Dr. Vora turned back from about less than three thousand feet away
from the top of the Mount Everest in 2010 due to hypothermia
attack and to keep his promise to his family that he would sacrifice
his ambition for loyalty to his family. The task then he accomplished
in 2013. Climbing the mountains Dr. Vora considers a spiritual journey.
Mr. Vora an ambitious mountain climber hoped to become one of the few
who climbed the highest seven mountains in Earth's seven continents.
Prior to Mt. Everest he accomplished sixth other summits.
He does not want the world to look at him when
he is at the top of the mountain, he wants
to look from the top of mountain the world below
and feel what he can do to make it better for all.

2013 JAINA Convention-Detroit
Appeal for Registration and Sponsorship

On behalf of JAINA EC and JAINA Convention Board, I am requesting your time and attention to touch on two key points with regards to our upcoming convention in Detroit.
As you know, the cost of convention to the attendee is heavily subsidized. This is only possible with offsets from (i) income from registration (Target $425K) and (ii) revenues from donations /sponsorship (Target $425K); often a 50/50 split.
Register for the Convention - Spread the Word
Every registration contributes to JAINA financially by offsetting certain fixed costs we are committed for. Each registered attendee will further help JAINA because your involvement will encourage others to come and join in the convention festivities. We have confirmed registration revenues of ~$350,000 (~3,000 attendees) as of this writing. Another $75,000 worth of additional registrations would greatly help pay for the substantial cost of this convention. Please help anyway you can.
Support the Convention - Through Sponsorship
On a treasury note, we have seen excellent efforts by our Convention Finance Team and a warm response from many. With our FR revenues approaching $345,000; we can use your assistance in making this last stretch for a home run. The remaining estimate to finish requires another $80,000 in donations and sponsorship. We urge you to look into your region and seek another $10,000/region between now and the next 30 days. Our goal is to have each JAINA convention fully paid up. Over the past years we have done very well with our convention books and we want to continue that tradition.
