Thanks to the 2011-2013 JAINA EC and volunteers for many new initiatives to bring JAINA and Jains into the mainstream in North America. We will need your continuous active participation, guidance and support. Thanks to Dr. Sushil Jain for many years of his dedication to JAINA and his team: Mr. Prem Jain - First Vice President, Mr. Ashok Damodia - Secretary, Mr. Dipak Doshi - Treasurer, Mrs. Lata Champsee - Past President, Regional Vice Presidents: Mr. Udai Jain, Dr. Deepika Dalal, Dr. Manish Mehta, Mr. Yogendra Jain, Dr. Raj Patil, Mr. Rajendra Dhami, Mr. Haresh Shah, Ms. Sejal Dhruva (YJA), and Mr. Rushabha Gudka (YJP).

Looking ahead, JAINA’s main objective for the next two years is to transform JAINA from a volunteer-based organization to a professional institution. With your support, we will take the next steps to achieve our shared vision to Evolve and promote Jain practices, Educate Jains and non-Jains to create a strong North American Jain community, Expand an awareness of Jainism as we create a global impact & Energize our community by evoking social change.

JAINA Convention 2013: Connecting Jains around the world
Thanks to JAINA’s live webcasting, a total of 4,220 people were able to view the convention in the United States and Canada. With viewers tuning in from the United Kingdom, France, India, Singapore, Hong Kong and Switzerland, JAINA truly had a global impact with 1124 viewers watching from India and viewers in France watching for an average of two hours.

FIRST SHIKHARBANDI JAIN MANDIR WITH MANEKSTAMBH IN NORTH AMERICA 7875 Mayfield Road, Brampton, Ontario CANADA With the blessings of Pujya Gurudev Shri Kanji Swami Shri Gyan Chand Jain and his family are building a Digamber Jain Temple in Toronto, Canada.
It would be the first ever constructed Shikharbandi Jain Mandir in Canada. It would have Manekstambh. There are many beautifully crafted and incomparable JAIN temples in India, but having something on the same lines outside India is nothing but a blessing. Temple is build on 5 acres of land and will consist of Jain Library, Museum, Community Hall & Senior Citizen Home wherein the elders of Jain samaj can stay,
live and eat together.
The goal is to build Jain temple where all Jains can worship and practice the principles of Jainism. While the structure of temple is now complete, it is like a dream come true. MANSTAMBH, SONGARH
