Registration Fee

Voluntary basis. If you want to help the conference you can pay it on arrival. If not it is not compulsory.

Free Local Hospitality

The delegates whose participation is confirmed will be our guests during the conference. The organizers will be responsible for their board, lodging, refreshments and local transport.

Arrival - Departure

Delegates must arrive in Jaipur on Oct 19 by evening. They can leave afternoon on Oct 23 or on Oct 24 morning.

11. Possibilities of a Weaponless World

Format for submission of proposals to speak and last date

(i)    Title of the paper
(ii)   Name of the Plenary Session for which it is meant
(iii)  Summary of your paper in 100 words

Last date for submitting proposals is August 31, 2013

Workshops

There will be three workshops every day in the afternoon. Proposals are invited with a title and summary in 100 words.

Last Date for Registration

Sept 15, 2013 but those who want to speak or lead a workshop must submit proposals by August 31, 2013.

  1. Every Day Workshops on Training in Nonviolence by Samani sisters (semi-nuns in the Jain tradition)
  2. We have invited resplendent luminaries in the field of ahimsa (nonviolence) including HH The Dalai Lama, other celebrated spiritual leaders, Vice-President of India. The conference will deepen your insights into ahimsa.

It is a rare opportunity for peace and nonviolence seekers across the world and benefit from the shared visions. Those who are thinking of coming to India as tourist it is the best season. After the conference you may go around the country and my organization will extend all cooperation including finding host families at destinations.
