“Spread a Smile on Everyone’s Lips” was the theme of the free dental check-up camp organized by the Raipur Branch of TPF. The camp was organized with the help of Dr. Dharmen Bhansali, BDS for making public aware about dental problems, their treatments and methods of prevention. He was assisted by Dr. Preksha Jain, BDS.

Elaborating the need for awareness about dental care, Dr. Bhansali told that knowing a problem is the first step to find solution to the problem. Hence everyone must keep on getting their teeth and gums checked on periodical basis and whenever there is some sign of any kind of problem it must be treated as per the guidance of the specialist doctors.
The programme started at 11 AM with the welcome of both the specialist doctors and participants by Smt. Ritu Choraria, President TPF. The programme was organized in the mid of the city at the clinic of Dr. Dharmen Bhansali situated at Kankali Hospital Complex, Raipur.

The highlight of the programme was not only the free check up of teeth and gums of all the participants but also the guidance given by Dr. Bhansali for preventing our teeth from problems. Counseling was also provided on common dental diseases, their causes, symptoms, prevention, complications and treatment.
Dr. Preksha Jain guided about food intake and prevention methods. She emphasized on the role of food in both, causations and prevention of dental diseases.
The camp was winded up at the scheduled time of 5 PM amidst huge gathering of beneficiaries. Overall 45 persons enjoyed the benefit of the camp. Visualizing the tremendous response received from the participants, Shri Surendra Choraria, Regional Vice President said that there is a great need for organizing similar camps in future.
