This past Thursday marked India's Independence Day! As we celebrate, JAINA would like to acknowledge Virchand Raghavji Gandhi, a pioneer in bringing Jainism to the West.

Interested in taking JAINA to the next level?

JAINA is proud to offer the fall session of the JAINA Student Internship (JASI), a full-time, intensive internship. JASI offers U.S. & Canadian undergraduate and graduate students the chance to work on a variety of projects with an established international non-profit in a start-up based environment.


As a JASI Intern, you will be working directly with the JAINA Office, supporting a variety of project leaders, JAINA HQ, and JAINA Executive Committee Members.

A collaboration between JAINA and the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), this project offers an Emblem Awards Program which offers eligible Boy Scouts the opportunity to earn special pins recognizing their Jain values and BSA principles.

Mahavira Children's Book Project - Teaching kids early about Jainism, Mahavira, and Compassion

Calling all passionate parents, Pathshala teachers, and educators! Interested in a simple but engaging medium to teach children about the practices of non-violence? Then become a part of the Mahavira Book Project !

is a collaboration between JAINA, Dr. Manoj Jain, and world-renowned illustrator Demi. This JAINA-sponsored book introduces young people to the story of Mahavira, the last of the 24 Tirthankaras, noted for his teachings regarding non-violence, forgiveness, and compassion towards all living beings.
