Samani Niyojika Riju Pragya and Samani Amal Pragya disciples of Acharya Shree Mahashraman, on the request of Mr. Praveen Kumar Jain visited Singapore during Paryushan parva. They were warmly received throughout their 13-day trip from 29st August to 11th September 2013 and their pravachans were a source of inspiration for sayyam and maitri to all.

Samani Riju Pragya delivered inspiring lectures on Ahimsa, soul, karma, enlighten kudalini, Jain Tatva Gyan etc. On samvatsari they delivered the lecture on forgiveness which was so impressive that audience spoke very high about them. The significant part of their pravachans is that the people from all walks of life, Jains and non-Jains were present during the religious ceremonies performed during paryusan parva. There were yoga and Preksha meditation sessions every morning and afternoon lectures on Sambodi. Samani Amal Pragyaji gave special lectures on common health issues and its natural cures on diabetics and asthama and on moral life values. This gave a total upliftment of mind, body and soul.

Dr. Mahaveer Raj Gelra, founder vice chancellor of Jain Vishva Bharati University Ladnun was also participated on above occasion. His lectures on Jainism, particularly on metaphysics, logic, science and mathematics were very knowledgeable and appreciated by all particularly young and literate generation found it very useful.

All felt the presence of the Samanijis during Paryushan, as the festival held more meaning with their arrival, and the Jains took part in it with much more enthusiasm than before. It gave good reasons for all the Terapanthis and other Jains alike to come together and discuss Jain ideas, fundamentals and there was a lot of spirituality and positivity. As the participation, interest and passion of the Jains in Singapore grows every year, we hope with the blessings of Acharya Shree, we will continue to receive deep knowledge of our values, faith, science and philosophy.
