Mahapragya International School is working towards the vision of Acarya Mahapragya, of a complete education that includes the principle of non-violence and emotional training.
The school was visited on Friday by a foreign scholar, Gabriela Gutierrez, who is from Spain and has received world-class education from SOAS, University of London along with studies in France and America. She spoke to the school about her interest in Acarya Mahapragya’s birthplace, his unique perspective upon education and his great contribution to this field. She spoke upon the merits of the integration of intellectual, physical, mental, and emotional education, and how this makes our school truly unique in this respect. Gabriela will be here for some months to teach staff and students an intensive spoken English course.
Before her speech, students Harshita and Diksha welcomed her in the traditional manner of Indian culture by giving her a tilak and tying a raksha bandhan. Principal Samani Punya Pragya Ji gave a vote of thanks.
