Today is Samvatsari.
It is a significant day.
It is the festival of tolerance.
The day to practice pacification.
It is the touchstone of tolerance.

Through the year whatever passion raged, excitement built, knotty problems encountered, they will change into a feeling of tranquillity, be pacified and all the knots will get untied.

The tension of passion and the tension of release –
how much difference there is between the two.
Every person can feel it.

Samvatsari begins with the practice of tolerance and pacification and ends with amity.
That is why Samvatsari is celebrated as the highest of festivals in the spiritual world.
