At the physical level, the methods comprise various yoga postures or ‘asanas’ that aims to keep the body healthy. The mental techniques include breathing exercises or ‘pranayama’ and meditation or ‘dhyana’ to discipline the mind.
The art of practicing yoga helps in controlling an individual mind, body and soul. It brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind, it helps to manage stress and anxiety and keep you relaxing. It also helps in increasing flexibility, muscle strength and body tone. It improves respiration, energy and vitality.

It aims to reach and to remain in the pure state of soul which is believed to be pure conscious, beyond any attachment or aversion. Jain meditation is also referred as Samayika. The word Samayika means being in the moment of continuous real-time. It is also a method by which one can develop an attitude of harmony and respect towards other humans and Nature.
