Lecturer & Secretary of the Scientific CouncilDr. Eugen Ciutin initiated and co-organized the European Congress of History of religions on "Religious History of Europe and Asia", held in Bucharest in the year 2006. He is also member of several international professional associations. A Master of Philosophy of Culture and a PhD in modern history at the Institute of History, he is one of the most significant Indology professors of Romanian origin. He has published over 200 research articles and reviews in international periodicals studies of the history of religions and Indology. He is also a coordinator of European postdoctoral fellowships program " Religion, history and society in Europe and Asia" in the Institute of History of Religions of the Romanian Academy.
