As you know, our next JAINA Convention will be held in Atlanta from July 2-5, 2015 and hosted by Jain Sangh of Greater Atlanta (JSGA).
Convention Board has been actively planning a spectacular convention for you and all the attendees. Below is the summary of activities to-date:
1. Theme of the convention is “Jainism: World of Non-Violence”.
2. We requested logo submissions from entire Jain community and received 70 entries. Final logo has been selected.
3. We are in final negotiations with convention center in Atlanta. This facility has over 300,000 sq. ft. with large grand ball room to accommodate 3,200 attendees. We plan to reserve entire convention center, including kitchen. 500 hotel rooms are available next door for your convenience.
4. Registration team is striving to open Registration for you soon.
5. Key Note Speakers, including President Carter, Dr. Sanjay Gupta (CNN), and Nipun Mehta (Youth Social worker) are being invited now.
6. Total 24 Committees, Chair and Co-Chairs are working hard in planning and executing an amazing convention.
