Aligarh
a city in the Northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh and the administrative headquarters of the Aligarh Divisionand Aligarh Police Range. The city is nicknamed Tala Nagri, ("City of Locks") on account of its lock industry. Aligarh is located approximately 90 miles (140 km) south-east of the capital, New Delhi and is one of the largest cities in Uttar Pradesh
