Lay follower's conduct - The twelve kinds of dharma (righteous conduct) that has been pre­scribed for a lay follower, i.e., five Aṇuvratas (five smaller vows of righteousness), three Guṇavratas (qualifying vows) and four Śikṣāvratas (supplementary vows). Agāradhammaṃ duvālasavihaṃ āikkhai, taṃ jahā – paṃca aṇuvvayāiṃ, tiṇṇi guṇavvayāiṃ, cattāri sikkhāvayāiṃ.
