Kūṭatula-kūṭamāna

An Aticāra (partial transgression) of Sthūlaadattādānaviramaṇa Vrata (the vow of abstinence from gross stealing which is the third vow of the lay follower);

to indulge in false weights and measures; to have unethical business practices.

tulā pratītā, mānam- kudavādi, kūtatvam- nyūnādhikatvam, tābhyām nyūnābhyām dadato'dhikābhyāmgrnhato'ticarati vratamiti, aticārahetutvādaticārah kūtatulākūtamānamuktah.
