An Aticāra (partial transgression) of the vow of Atithisaṃvibhāga (the 12th vow of the lay follower-to give food etc. to the ascetic);
not to offer food (to the ascetic) under the pretext that the food belonged to others.
'paravyapadeśaḥ' parakīyametat tena sādhubhyo na dīyate iti sādhusamakṣaṃ bhaṇanam.
