A type of Utpādana Doṣa (the blemish pertaining to the ways adopted in obtaining bhikṣā (accepting food etc. by going to houses for collecting them in conformity with the canonical instruction)) by an ascetic);
the bhikṣā received by the ascetic through revealing acquaintance of his parental side or his in-laws' side with the giver.
pūrvasamstavaṃ jananī-janakādidvareṇa paścātsaṃstavaṃ śvaśrūśvasurādidvāreṇātma-paravayo'nurūpaṃ saṃbandhaṃ bhikṣārthaṃ ghaṭayataḥ pūrvapaścātsaṃstavapiṇdaḥ.
