JSGD JAINA Cultural Program (TODAY)

Jai Jinendra!
As you all know, JAINA Convention 2021 is a Global Convention scheduled from July 1st-July 6th, 2021. JSGD participated in the cultural program, presenting the theme of "Kal, AajaurKal - The United Generations!". We are showcasing all the different generations we are proud to have within our JSGD. We have almost 60 participants—aged between 8 - 75 years—that have participated in the show.

Our performance will be premiering on Thursday, July 1st between 10-11 PM EST and cultural programs from other sanghs. You must be a registered attendee for the convention to have access to the program. If you have not yet registered for the convention, please register here: https://www.jainaconvention.org/. We request that everyone tune in to see some truly phenomenal performances from the Jain Society of Greater Detroit. You'll get a chance to see some familiar faces and some unique elements that we think you'll enjoy immensely.

Reepal Shah took the lead and coordinated the acts for each generation. Mona Bora and Sheily Shah gracefully took on the choreography for all of the performances. We held virtual practices over Zoom, and the final video was shot in April. All the individual videos were compiled and edited by Riya Shah for the final product.

We want to thank all the participants and volunteers for their help in making this dream a reality!

Pranam,

Reepal Shah
