BOT CORNER DIWALI CELEBRATION UPDATE 2023
Jai Jinendra and Pranam Everyone,
We are filled with immense gratitude and joy as we reflect on the success of our 25th Diwali Celebration at JSGD. Your participation and efforts have truly made this event memorable.
With over 650 members in attendance, the celebration was a vibrant tapestry of activities, starting with a Puja and General Body Meeting, followed by the JOY Rangoli. The highlight was the authentic, artisanal Diwali Swamivatsalya, and the day ended on a high note with a delightful musical evening by D’Octaves, complemented by light refreshments.
We warmly welcome our new BOT members – Ramesh (Sheela) Shah and Naveen (Richa) Jain. Their joining will continue our promising steps towards an exciting and productive 2024.
As we move past Thanksgiving, it's important to pause and extend our heartfelt thanks to every volunteer who played a part in bringing this event to life. Special mention goes to our Puja Committee, Diwali Swamivatsalya cooking team - the BOT ladies, the Table/Chair Setup team, and the Decoration team.
Our gratitude also goes to Bharat/Padmaja Doshi and Rajiv/Reepal Shah, our Family Recognition awardees, for their steadfast support and contributions to the Jain Society. It is this spirit of community and volunteering that we all deeply appreciate and are thankful for.

Important Temple Announcement
Dear Members,
Jai Jinendra,
Starting Monday, October 30th following renovation/repair activities will be taking place at the temple.
(1) Removal of dead trees and trees that are very close to temple building as well as replacing them per site plan approved by the city of Farmington hills.
(2) Repair/Renovation/Upgrade and cleaning of Shikhar, Bricks, Cement walk ways and EIFS on perimeter of the temple.
(3) Kitchen renovation and clean up.
To facilitate contractors in their trades one of the drive way (either east or west side) will be closed, so we request members to carefully use exit/entry thru open side only.
Also, We request members not to approach contractors or Pujari Deepakbhai / Kiranben with any inquiry or suggestion. If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact one of the following member involved with the project. Please take extra precautions as there may be construction equipment's and material lying around at the temple entrances.
