To launch this project a function is being held at JVB London on
Sunday 9th September
from 11.30am to 12.15pm
(immediately following the morning lecture).

Introduction

With the auspicious blessings of Acharya Shree Mahaprajna, and the guidance of Samaniji, JVB London has developed a DVD, CD and book that will provide guidance on Pratikramana.

This Pratikramana is short, modern and relevant to today’s generation. Although we recognise that it is not the original Pratikramana as per the scriptures, it is hoped that it is a suitable step for today’s Jains, especially the young generation.

1) Lecture - what is Pratikramana, why we should do it, and how we should do it
2) Pratikramana - the full Pratikramana in English with 12 vrats and 4 logassa kayotsarga
3) Pratikramana - shortened Pratikramana in English with 5 vrats and 1 logassa kayotsarga

2) Long Pratikramana in Gujarati - (Pratikramana Avashyak in Gujarati, rest in Prakrit)
