The moebius strip is fascinating
from the
- mathematical
- dimensional
- geometrical
point of view.
Also artists became inspired by the moebius strip - because our eyes get something to see, which is not acceptable as "real" (the nonorientable surface!), but astounding.
When the mind starts to consume these objects it comes to a stop, an "impossible!" appears and wondering starts. So getting rid of one's normal perspectively focussed perception is an adventure for the mind. It starts again and again to make it fit into 3D perspective - but failes. So be amused frankly.

The moebius strip became very famous by the art of
M.C.Escher
Every plane in this "3D" space has 2 meanings/functions, serves 2 points of views.
M.C.Escher created his own "hyperspace", based on the moebius strip, and was deeply inspired by the tesselations of the Alhambra, Granada, Spain, a kind of art you can find also at the Taj Mahal, India.
