It’s a great pleasure for me to welcome His Holiness Acharya Mahapragya and Dr. Kalam as well as dignitaries and common man to this historic function when the much-awaited classic ‘The Family and the Nation’ authored jointly by His Holiness Acharya Mahapragya and His Excellency Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam is being released. Acharya Mahapragya represents the ascetic tradition and Dr. Kalam represents the scientific community. The humanity was waiting for such an illuminating book which provides insights into the combination of science and spirituality and which can help the people to come of the web of violence and hatred. Acharya Mahapragya has always believed that transformation of society and nation depends on the transformation of the individual and the family. We are beside ourselves with joy to see that a dream is coming true. The anuvrat society is grateful to His Holiness Acharya Mahapragya and His Excellency Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam for turning their attention to this critical aspect and concentrating on the writing of this much needed book. About the book you will hear from Prof. R.P. Bhatnagar. I take the opportunity to welcome all the dignitaries, scholars, writers, media persons and ordinary citizens to this august function.
