About

The Jain Vegans Team is a group of individuals from Jain community who are working (completely voluntarily) to raise awareness among the Jain community about the true hinsa of the modern dairy industry and other animal-product industries (e.g. leather, silk, honey etc).  At Ayambil, you'll have heard our speeches and you might have picked up some information from our information table.  If you now wish to learn more about the issues and/or seek guidance on making the transition to a lower-hinsa vegan lifestyle, help is at hand in the form of the Jain Vegans egroup:
www.JainVegans.org

This egroup was launched in March 2008 with the aim of providing support to Jains who wish to learn more about the vegan lifestyle (in a Jain cultural context).  Many experienced and knowledgeable vegan people (both Jains and non-Jains) are on hand to provide answers to your questions.

To join this vibrant, friendly and supportive egroup, please visit:

and click on "Join This Group!" and then follow the instructions.

If you have difficulties with the joining process, please do not hesitate to contact us at:
  • .

Once you have joined, you should be able to receive emails from the egroup directly to your normal email address.  If this is not the case, please contact the Jain Vegans Team at the above address.

Finally, if you have any questions or would like us to give a presentation to a community group, please do not hesitate to contact us at the above email address.

    With warm wishes,

    The Jain Vegans Team.
