Tijara, Rajasthan, India

Tijara is a city and a municipality in Alwar district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The village is of particular relevance to the Jain community. In 156 the Tijara Jain Temple was established after the discovery of an ancient image of Tirthankar Chandraprabha.
