 Sanskrit: Aradhana (devotion, adoration)

In Jainism, religious ceremony performed by Deravasi or Murtipujak Svetambara Jains who are performing rituals and worshipping idols. For Aarti they use a five-armed and a one-armed candleholder filled with liquid Ghee, which is enkindled from left to right and brandished in the air while shanting devotional songs. The use of Ghee is about to be discussed actually, as it is produced from cow milk.
