is the name given to several images of the Jain Tirthankar Parshvanath in India, and to the temple where it is the main deity (mulanayaka). The original image, about 1.5 feet high, was preserved at Gori Jain Temple in Tharparkar district of Pakistan, located between Islamkot and Nagarparkar. Today this temple is damaged and the image has been removed.
Among the images that bear the name Godiji Parshvanth, the best known is preserved at Shri Godi Parshvanath Temple at Pydhonie, Mumbai.It was established in beginning of the eighteenth century in the Fort area. The image is said to have been brought from Mirpur in Sirohi district in Rajasthan. The temple was moved in samvat 1859 (1803 CE) to Pydhonie locality because of a fire. The brick and wood structure was complete replaced by a three story marble structure in 1989.
