You may note that recently H.H. Dr. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, President of India has honoured Prof. Pandya with Certificate of Honour for Sanskrit in Ashok Hall at Rasthrapati Bhawan on 19th June 2012.
H.H. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, President of India conferred the Certificates of Honour to scholars of Sanskrit, Persian, Arabic languages and Pali/Prakrit on this day.
The awards are announced once a year on Independence Day in recognition of substantial contribution in the field of Sanskrit, Persian, Arabic and Pali/Prakrit languages.
It is our great pleasure to celebrate such wonderful occasion to felicitate Prof. Vijay Pandya.
