Vijayawadais a commercial city, located on the bank of Krishna[2] river in Krishna[2] district of Andhra Pradesh[3][1], India.

It is the second largest city in Andhra Pradesh[3][1] after Visakhapatnam[4] with an area of 261.88 km².
