I am very fond of two words: dispassionate and vow.
To be dispassionate is our goal and the vow is our tool to reach the goal.
Not only man's but the entire world's problems are born of attachment and aversion.

To be dispassionate is a major solution by itself.

If this truth is understood then a lot of support can be got from it for transforming the state of the world.
But to understand this, bookish knowledge is not enough.
Meditational practice is necessary.
