 2. SPOTLIGHT
Pratima of Bhagwan Mahavir Stolen and Recoverd after 9 days.

Shri Kshatriyakund Teerth located in Lachwad, Bihar (India) is Jain pilgrimage center as it is a birthplace of Bhagwan Mahavir. The teerthkshetra is situated on the hill of the thick forest at a distance of 5 kilometers from the Kshatriyakund.

A group of eight armed criminals escaped with an ancient idol of Bhagwan Mahavir from a temple at Lachwad in Jamui district on Friday night (November 28, 2015) around 1 am. The incident has shocked members of Jain community around the world.

 3. JAINA PRESS RELEASE ON PARIS ATTACK

14 November 2015, Washington, DC --The Federation of Jain Associations in North America (JAINA) representing 150,000 Jains condemns the despicable act of terror in Paris that took over 125 innocent lives and injured more than 350 civilians. We are deeply saddened by this monumental loss. Jainism holds that the taking of any life is a cardinal sin and we reiterate that nothing can ever justify terrorism and murder. Our thoughts and prayers are therefore with the victims and their families.

We stand in solidarity with all the people of France, and feel the pain they are suffering from these actions. All people of faith and conscience must stand up against violence, terrorism, extremism, bigotry, racism, and hate.

 4. DIWALI CELEBRATION AT CAPITOL HILL

 5. THE SECRET OF WINNING SEMINAR
      DECEMBER 18-21, 2015 IN PALITANA

The Secret of Winning is a journey in itself. This leads us from the world that craves and celebrates tangible happiness with a physical form to the very core of the meaning and essence of being happy.
JYOT is coming up with series of workshops called “The Secrets of Winning”. These workshops are aimed at providing a direct contact with the visionary of JYOT - an invincible decoder of the most complex subject matters, cognoscente and expert in various fields - Acharya Shree Yugbhushan Suriji.

 6. INTERESTED IN A TAX REDUCTION?
DONATE TO JAINA BEFORE END OF YEAR!

JAINA has many charitable activities and programs it is undertaking to keep our Jain culture and heritage alive in North America as well as promote a Jain Way of Life. The key to our success is attributed to support from donors and professional volunteers like you. We are organizing events in 40+ US states, at the White House in Washington DC, and with the United Nations, to express the Jain values of compassion, nonviolence, love, and peace for all.

Hopefully you can see that a tax deductible donation to support any of these wonderful causes and projects are a very small investment in our future. Please to make your tax deductible donation before December 31, 2015. During this season of gratitude, we thank you for your continued generous support to JAINA and its initiatives!
