Greetings for the day!

On this auspicious day of Mahavira Jayanti, we are happy to announce the National Symposium on Jain Philosophy and Science. This event is a follow-up of the recently held "International Conference on Science and Jain Philosophy, 2016". The programme will be held on Sunday, 8th May, 2016 at Yogi Sabhagruha, Dadar (East), 9 am onwards and will be followed by lunch. We are delighted to inform you that the Honourable Governor of Maharashtra, His Excellency Shri C. Vidyasagar Rao has consented to be the Chief Guest of the National Symposium.

The  highlights of the event are as follows -

  • Presentation of the crux of the International Conference on Science and Jain Philosophy 2016.
  • Talks by renowned sages, scholars and scientists.
  • Presentation of the upcoming projects of Scientific Research in Jain Philosophy to be undertaken by BMIRC, with, of course, the hearty contribution of the Whole Jain Samaj.
  • Book-Release: The Bhagavati Sutra ― Volume V, with first ever Translation and Critical Annotations (Bhashya) in Hindi.
  • Project of HHOT camps with Medical Research - an initiative to impart training in applied Spiritual “Techniques” prescribed by Bhagawan Mahavira to prevent & cure emotional, mental & physical disorders (50 online camps - starting on 24th April 2016 upto 21st April 2018).

We earnestly invite you to be a part of this grand and unique event.
