Puja - This unique JCGB tradition puja combines the elements of Snatra and Dev Shastra Guru pujas. Prepared puja thali with samagri will be provided to you for your $51 donation to the Jain Center. Please register using the Registration link if your family is interested in sitting for puja. Please note, you are welcome to join the puja even if you don't procure a puja thali from the Jain Center.

Pravachan - Dr. Hope Fitz is the invited speaker for the program. She will talk about “Ahimsa: a Way of Life; a Path to Peace” - ahimsa and how for the Jains, ahimsa is a way of life. She may also mention her work on Aristotle’s “’Doctrine of the Mean’ and Ahimsa”.

Stavans - The Rhode Island group, with their musical instruments, will be back to perform stavans. We will also have a duo of Jain Center members who will sing stavans set to popular tunes. They have never performed at the Jain Center, however, if you want to see how well stavans can be sung, do not to miss their performance.

JCGB Got Talent - This item is back by popular demand. Our Jain Center has children and adults who are talented singers, dancers and musicians. This year the Talent Show has received massive and warm response from the community. We have performers in various age groups starting from as young as 5 years to over 50 years old. With over 24 items by children, some youth and adult participants, there is a great variety of entertainment items - stavans, group dances, cultural and classical dance performances, skits and singing. The Talent Show will start with Namokar Mantra and end with evening Aarti.

Note, entry to the talent show is closed - we hope you will participate in a future program.

Swamivatsalya Sponsorship - We invite you to sponsor the Pratishtha Anniversary Swamivatsalya. Full sponsorship is available at $2500 for lunch or dinner, and partial sponsorship by multiple families at $500 each. Please contact any EC member if you are interested in sponsoring Swamivatsalya.

We hope to see you for puja, pravachan, stavans and talent show at our Pratishtha Anniversary program.

Sincerely,

Dilip Jain
President
