Mahashraman Yatra covers 35000 kms; reaches Dimapur

DIMAPUR, JUN 10 (NPN):

Acharya Shri Mahashraman-ji, who set out on foot as part of his Ahimsa Yatra, since November 9 2014 reached Dimapur, on June 9. 

Nagaland Governor, P.B. Acharya and chief minister T.R. Zeliang attended the programme, in honour of Mahashramanji held at Mahabir Bhavan, Marwari Patti, Dimapur on Friday. The event was organised by Shree Jain Shwetambar Terapanth Sabha, Dimapur, a DIPR report stated.

As stated, the objective of the Yatra was to promote peace, harmony and de-addiction. For this Mahashramanji has travelled not only within India but also Bhutan and Nepal, covering a distance of around 35000 kms.
