  1. That Jīva (soul), which terminates the anger etc., of the category of Anantānubandhī (Kaṣāya) (passions), which is the cause of endless transmigration.
  2. A person who subsides or annihilates the anger etc., of the category of Anantānubandhī (Kaṣāya) (passions), which is the cause of endless transmigration.
cinantaḥ saṃsārastadanubandhino'nantāḥ krodhādayastān viyojayati kṣapayatyupaśamayati vā anantaviyojakaḥ.
