Heart disease is the most killer disease worldwide. Asian community is three to four times more vulnerable to heart attacks among the people living in USA. Dr. Bimal Chhajer, a Cardiologist from Delhi, India, renowned in the field of Non Invasive Cardiology, will explain how the heart disease develops, how to identify it in advance, and how the medical community deals with this disease with Bypass surgery and stents,etc. He will show how to avoid bypass surgery with lifestyle change such as food habits, stress reduction and exercise. He will explain the food habits most suitable to heart patients and to those who want to avoid heart disease. He will show how food can be cooked with the same taste without oil. He will cover management of High Blood Pressure, Diabetes and obesity. The talk will be in simple language and will be followed by a questions and answers session.
Dr. Chhajer, a Jain, had worked at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences as a consultant for 6 years. He was consultant to two Presidents of India. He founded “SAAOL” - Science and Art of Living- Heart Center in 1995 for treating heart disease without Bypass surgery or Angioplasty. He is a researcher and expert on Preksha Meditation. Today he has more than 50 centers in India and two international centers in Dhaka and Kathmandu. He has successfully treated more than 100,000 heart patients who could avoid surgery/angioplasty. He has authored more than 70 books and has been delivering talks on heart care all over the world.
