This temple Panchkalyanak Pratishtha in Jul 1988 was been led by H H Swasti Sri Charukeerthi Bhattarakaru of Sharavanabelagola Jaina Matha.

This is the glimpses of Abshiseka for all the 24 Thirtankars at a time on the occasion of Dashalakshana Maha parva 2016 at 1000 years historic Jain temple called Bandar basadi, Sharavanabelagola, Karnataka, South India.

Second day of Dashalakshna Maha parva: Uttama Mardava Dharma (Tenderness or Humility)-
Meaning:To observe the virtue of humility subduing vanity and passions.
Mardavam: This refers to the complete absence of self-conceit (thinking we are superior among all).
Such self-conceit or pride may be due to one’s own superior caste, one’s family prestige, one’s own bodily beauty, learning, wealth, courage and bodily strength.
Due to these various reasons, a person may entertain the feeling of self-importance and pride.
Human will become a victim of pride and self-conceit. Complete avoidance of the feeling of pride is called Mardhavam or humility.
Note: We request all the members to start Dashalakshan Parva practising (Promise yourself) to speak less, to be calm, to be polite, to be humble, to be good, to be content, to be self control, to be happy, to forgive, to detached from un wanted and practice to continue the same in your daily life.
