Udghātikāropaṇā

A type of Āropaṇā Prāyaścitta (a continuous sequence of expiation);

that expiation in which the period of expiation is divided into divisions; āropaṇā (superimposition) of this is then made into earlier expiation.

sārddhadinadvayasya pakṣasya copaghātanena laghūniṃ māsādināṃ prācīnaprāyaścitte āropaṇā udgliātikāropaṇā.
