Earth-bodied being- That Jīva (soul, living being), the body of which is in the form of clay, mineral (metal etc.).
pṛthivī-kāṭhinyādilakṣaṇā pratītā saiva kayaḥ-śarīraṃ yeṣāṃ te pṛthivīkāyāḥ pṛthivlkāyā eva pṛthivlkāyikāḥ.
