Akashsy Tritiya festival is related with first Teerthankar Lord Rishabhnath After Diksha he did not get alms for more than one year. On this day Shreyansh gave alms. He gave sugarcane juice to Rishabh as per norms of a monk. People follow lord Rishabhnath but capacity of people are less than him so they do year long alternative day fast for one year and more.
