During the Anuvrat Amrit Mahotsav year, his Anuvrat Yatra has created unparalleled history by benefitting countless people. Inspired by him, over one crore people have accepted de-addiction, and millions have embraced restraint and positivity as success mantras through Life Science and Anuvrat competitions. Thousands have adopted digital detox, practicing restraint with screens, mobiles, and media, thereby bringing happiness into their lives.

Acharya Mahashraman Ji, a great social reformer, pinnacle of restraint, and a carrier of the Rishi tradition, is the 11th head of the Jain Terapanth sect.

The illustrious life journey of this venerable ascetic of the Shraman culture began on Vaishakh Shukla Navami, Vikram Samvat 2019 (13 May 1962), in Sardarshahar, born to parents Jhumarmal Dugad and Nema Devi. The promising boy took monk initiation under Muni Shri Sumer Mal Ji "Ladnun" on Vaishakh Shukla Chaturdashi, Vikram Samvat 2031 (5 May 1974) in Sardarshahar.

The newly initiated monk exhibited stability in yoga, tolerance for hardship, and a deep interest in profound knowledge.

Progressing through continuous practice of restraint and as an embodiment of alertness, he was appointed to private work by Anuvrat founder Acharya Shri Tulsi on 13 May 1981 and as a close associate to Yuvacharya Mahapragya on 16 February 1986. The astute Acharya Tulsi conferred the title "Mahashraman" on 9 September 1989, and Acharya Mahapragya granted him the title of "Yuvacharya" on 14 September 1997. Through the continuous development of virtues like truth, courage, and valor with discipline and vigilance, Acharya Mahashraman Ji's immensely influential personality was shaped.

After the sudden demise of Acharya Shri Mahapragya on Vaishakh Krishna Ekadashi, Vikram Samvat 2067 (9 May 2010), Acharya Shri Mahashraman Ji became the 11th head of Terapanth on Vaishakh Shukla Dashami, Vikram Samvat 2067 (23 May 2010). From his first address itself, his impressive administrative capabilities and unparalleled foresight in decision-making became evident. Positive impacts began to be seen within the community through timely changes in restraint promotion.

Acharya Mahashraman, the golden present of India, is the great coordinator of the organization, a repository of excellence, energy, and karmic strength. He tirelessly continues the laborious task of caring for every individual, family, village, city, metropolis, the Terapanth sect, and global humanity.
