Surat 02.08.2024:
The Upasak Shreni Shivir 2024 was a spiritually enriching event held in Surat from July 25th to August 2nd, blessed by the presence of Acharya Mahashraman ji. Upasak categary started by Acharya Tulsi and promoted by Acharya Mahapragya.
This special gathering brought together 39 participants—34 women and 5 men—from various parts of India.
Each day began early at 4:30 AM with a refreshing session of yogic asanas and preksha dhyaan. The mornings were filled with insightful sessions, starting with Gurudev's darshan, followed by the Shravak Sambodh class, and inspiring pravachans (discourses). Afternoons were dedicated to learning about key concepts like Jeev-Ajeev (living and non-living) and the teachings of Mahaveer Swami, alongside communication classes Sadhvi Sadhvi Jitendra Prabha

. To deepen their understanding, participants also engaged in Q&A sessions with knowledgeable Pradhyapak Dalamchandji, and Nirmalji Navlakha and Sanyojak Surya Prakash Samsukha.
To keep everyone sharp and engaged, daily oral assignments were given, which proved to be excellent preparation for the crucial exam days. Online classes guided by Sushil Bafana and quizzes held before the shivir also played a crucial role in their preparation.
When the results were announced, the joy and pride among the successful participants were palpable. Each one expressed heartfelt gratitude for the event, vowing to carry forward the teachings and values of Jain Terapanth with dedication and enthusiasm.
