On 31 st May 2006, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, JVB London had organised a one-day Preksha Meditation Camp. After morning lecture, meditation and exercises, a light lunch was served. Then the 25 participants went under the guidance of Samanijis Pratibha & Punya Pragya in a walking meditation (Gaman Yoga) to a nearby park, where another meditation session was held.

The attendants to the camp were inspired for a new awareness of their bodily reactions to stress and other habits, harmful to health. Beneath meditation sessions, some group discussions on the subject ‘What is your reaction when you are stressed?” were very fruitful and helped the people to find out their special reactions. Now when they perceive them, they have been taught in the camp, how to answer them with perception of breath and concentration on it to overcome the mechanism of reacting instead of acting.

After the camp, people were very happy about the knowledge they had gained in one day only, helping them in day-to-day life.
