Ahimsa Yatra : Siriyari : Acharya Mahaprajna To Be Honoured With National Ethics Award

Acharya Shri Mahaprajna, Head of the Terapanth sect, who has just completed his Ahimsa-Yatra before Chaturmas at Siriyari in Rajasthan, is going to be honoured with the prestigious "National Ethics Award" for his most valuable contribution towards national unity, communal harmony, ahimsa, mutual understanding and building an ethical society.

The selection committee for this award was headed by Ex-Chief Justice, Shri P.N. Bhagwati and the advisory board for this purpose was headed by ex-Chief Justice J.S. Verma.

The other members on the Board were Prime Minister, Shri Manmohan Singh and Justice Rajendra Sachhar.
