The Upasak Training Camp was held at Udaipur from 3rd to 12th August in presence of Acharya Mahaprajna and was organised by Mahasabha. Sri Nirmal Nowlakha is presently in charge of Upasak.

The training enable Upasaks to substitute the services of sadhus, sadhvis, samans, samanis and mumkshus at places where those cannot go, e.g. for the time of Paryushan, when people want to do sadhana and pratikraman.
During these 8 days of Paryushan Upasaks live like monks and nuns (also follow some rules lifelong) and conduct people through their daily spiritual activities.
