The core of planning should not be only economic development

Acharya Mahaprgaya

Jaipur, July 24, 2008.

International Centre for Economics of Non Violence and Sustainability (ICENS), IILM & Anuvibha has jointly organized the conference under the presence of Acharya Mahapragya & Yuvacharya Mahapragya.

Acharya Mahapragya addressing the conference of relative economics & inclusive development held by ICENS (INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR ECONOMICS OF NON VIOLENCE AND SUSTAINABILITY)

Acharya Mahapragya while expressing his thoughts said that hypothesis of our development become unbalanced because of keeping the main aim of economic development. We need to expand our vision. If planning commission want that plans benefits reaches to a backward and lower people then it is necessary that centre of planning must be a person standing in the last of society in spite of economic development. First government confirms that not a single people sleep empty stomach in a country then only social struggles, violence and increasing naksalvad can be bring under control. And only then true development will happen.

Main speaker Dr. Sayeed Hameed said that we have always measured the growth from point of view of GDP only but today attention is to be perted towards those people who have not yet become the part of this development. Till the general masses don’t have the knowledge of schemes that Government is bringing for their upliftment, those schemes can’t be successful.

Dr. Nathuramka told that the thought of inclusive development which is inserted in 11th five year planning is not the new thing. There is similarity between the inclusive development and the relative development concept of Acharya Mahapragya. From both these thoughts, a regular established growth can be possible and this will led to firm society. He also said that the Indian politics does not have the emotional touch and the currently happened event is its example.

Before this, Director of I.I.L.M. Prof. Ashok Bapana welcomed all guests and said that I.C.EN.S. wants to develop such model of development which can be a solution to problem arising from the today’s economic concepts.

Continuing the discussion, Shri Yaduvendra Mathur said that Acharya Mahapragya’s thought of consistent and firm development is very logical. We can optimally & properly utilized the budgets of five year planning through this concept and can benefit the general masses.

Acharya Mahapragya Pravas Samiti welcomes the guests by giving the Acharya Mahapragya’s Book – “Yatra Ahimsa ki- Khoz Hinsa ke karano ki”.
